Swedish director Robert Jitzmark was born and raised in the beautiful town of Gothenburg, Sweden. Now based in Stockholm, Robert is co-founder of the premiere production company in Sweden, Camp David, founded in 2003. 

After high school graduation, Robert moved to Stockholm to study at RMI Berghs School of Communication. And in 1995, he received a degree in marketing and scriptwriting. While there, he wrote, directed, and produced “Toxic Demon Paint”, a horror film that was very well received and also won at the college’s Examination Awards.

Longing for more hands-on experience, he joined production company Petterson Åkerlund as an assistant director then in 1995 he went on to Mekano, where he directed for the next five years.

Among Robert’s work: a series of spots for Puma, a well-received series of commercials for Inpes Condoms for the French Ministry of Health, IKEA, Sony Playstation, Canal+, MTV, and Mentos. 

He has worked with celebrities ranging from Snoop Dogg to Usain Bolt and several famous football stars like Messi, Robben, and Neymar. He also worked with numerous prolific car brands such as Peugeot, SMART, and celebrated campaigns for MINI. 

His spots for Swedish Fish won gold at the ADC Festival in New York and has won numerous Epica awards. His campaign for Elmsta Horror festival also acclaimed success around the world. 

In recent years, he has directed commercials for, DHL, EA Sports, Replay Jeans, and Qatar Airways which have all been internationally acclaimed. Robert is celebrated for his special style of visual comedy.
