ON THIS EARTH A SHADOW FALLS, NICK BRANDT
Nick Brandt, known for his iconic film work with Michael Jackson as well as beautiful television commercial work, has announced an Artist's Edition of On This Earth, A Shadow Falls (Big Life Editions, 2010). This edition combines the best photos from both trade books, On This Earth (Chronicle, 2005) and A Shadow Falls (Abrams, 2009).
Beautifully printed in 15.5" L x 13.3" H format, 90 plates total. All copies will be signed.The front cover is linen with tipped-on image.

SUCKER PUNCH, ZACK SNYDER
Zack Snyder thrills audiences at Comic-Con with a glimpse of his new film Sucker Punch. The film takes us into the vivid imagination of a young girl whose dream world provides the ultimate escape from her darker reality.
An original concept which Zack co-wrote with Steve Shibuya, the movie features hyper-stylized fighting sequences, a splash of burlesque, a dose of steampunk and a whiff of Nazi Germany.

WORLD CUP 2010, GERARD DE THAME
Gerard de Thame shot two spots with Leo Burnett, Chicago for Allstate Insurance and the 2010 World Cup. "Gloves" takes the viewer on a thrilling ride through the city as every citizen joins together to make sure that goal keeper Guillermo Ochoa receives his trusty gloves in time for a big match. "Wall" shows that Ochoa does not leave a single hole open in front of his goal.

STUDIO OF THE YEAR, TOMATO
Tomato takes home studio of the year at Grafik Design Awards.
The winners of the Grafik Design Awards were announced last week at a very exclusive ceremony at the Adam Street Members Club in London. The amount of graphic design talent gathered together in one room was mind-boggling — legends such as Wim Crouwel and Peter Saville, established studios including Pentagram, Tomato and GTF, judges Phil Baines, Sara de Bondt, Marina Willer, Emily King and Kate Moross were all in attendance.
Wim Crouwel presented the much-anticipated award for Best Studio. Tomato were the very worthy winners, with Pentagram and Praline runners-up.

WASSUP '08: TRUE CHANGE
Winner of the special jury commendation at Cannes this year.
Charles Stone created the next installment of the infamous Wassup project entitled "True Vote". A political and social commentary, the new version catches up with its original cast in present day... fighting in Iraq, watching their stocks plummet, battling Mother Nature, and hoping for change in the next presidential election.

UNDERWORLD NEW SINGLE, TOMATO
John Warwicker of Tomato creates artwork for the new Underworld single "Scribble".
This is the first new Underworld music in two and a half years. Described as a gene-splice between Yellow Magic Orchestra and Grooverider blasting out over the dancefloor at Fabric on a Friday night, Scribble is a writing and production collaboration with Hospital recording artist High Contrast.
The full album is available late Summer.

Rory Kelleher created a tornado for Axa Insurance... with a little help of some wind machines and Glassworks visual effects. Shot on location in Montreal for Publicis Paris, this spot was a continuation of a campaign shot this past summer in Barcelona.

JEFFREY DARLING, DINER'S CLUB
Jeffrey embarked on an epic journey around the world for Diner’s Club out of Draft FCB Chicago. Shot in Japan, Czech Republic, Denmark, Morocco and Brazil, Jeff traveled with a small crew and equipment package but managed to capture a huge number of scenes with varying cast and landscapes.
